Frequently Asked Questions

General
Do you offer same pick-up?

Yes! Depending on the service type, we can offer pick-up times in as little as two hour. Please call ahead or inquire at time of drop off for a turn-around estimate.

What are your hours of operation?

We are open Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. We are closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

What is your re-do policy?

Whether it's stain removal, additional pressing, or anything else you can think of; we'll gladly re-do an item you're not happy with free of charge. To submit a re-do request, we require the original receipt attached to the clothing bag and the item needs to be brought back within 48 hours of pick-up.

What happens if an item is misplaced or damaged?

At Virtual Cleaners, we do our absolute best to ensure that 100% of your items are returned to you in better condition than they were received. In the event that something is ever lost or damaged, please hold on to your original receipt for that specific order and contact our store manager. All claims and adjustments must be made within 48 hours of original pickup and be accompanied by an original receipt.

Why is there a new stain after cleaning?

There are many types of stains that aren't visible prior to cleaning that can activate during the dry cleaning process. These are called "invisible stains" which are the most frequent problem we face as dry cleaners. Sugar or oil based stains can caramelize under extreme heat resulting in a stain that wasn't visible prior to service. Please let a team member know prior to cleaning if you've spilled anything on your clothes so we can take extra care.

Common sugar-based stains: Coffee, sodas, tea, beer, milk, fruits, etc.
Common oil-based stains: Hair Spray, cosmetics, lotions, etc.

Once stains caramelize/oxidize, it's extremely difficult and sometimes impossible to remove. If you've spotted a new stain after dry cleaning, please contact us within 48 hours of service. We will try our best to remove it on a re-do attempt.

Service
What if I don't see a service on your menu that I need?

If you require specialized cleaning service (i.e. sequins, beads, glitter, etc.), please don't hesitate to call and email us for feasibility. In most cases, we can determine feasibility and cost through a phone consultation. In rare cases, we'd need to inspect the item in person.

Do you clean oversized comforters and linens?

We take extra care to clean your luxurious linens and restore the original soft fluffy "fresh out of the bag" feel. Please don't hesitate to contact us for an estimate.

Do you clean garments that don't have a care label?

Dry cleaners must assume that garments, as well as any extra decorations such as beads or sequins can be cleaned according to the care label required by the Federal Trade Commission laws. As experts, we have a good understanding of how garments should be cleaned but there is no certainty of satisfaction without said label. We will inform you in advance of service whether or not we can clean and care for your garments without care labels.
